COMMENTS
It is almost impossible to list all
the guest compliments we receive on a daily basis at the
Fireside Inn and Suites in Devils Lake, ND. We shall
attempt to list a few of the most frequent comments of
appreciation that have been conveyed to Management, some
through Guest Comment Cards, others are specific comments to
Front Desk Personnel, and also comments that guests
personally express directly to Management, who are easily
accessible seven days a week.
Tourists travelling through on 8/01/08
stayed at the Fireside Inn and Suites because of our listing
in the AAA Directory and filled out our comment card with
the following ratings: Excellent rating for the Hotel
Overall, the Front Desk, the Breakfast and Breakfast Room,
the Pool Area, and again the Front Desk Personnel.
A Business/Corporate guest of recent
who found the Fireside Motel on the Web rated Front Desk
Personnel, Housekeeping Personnel, and Maintenance as
Excellent, with a good report for every other aspect of the
Hotel.
Recently, a special bouquet and card
was sent to the Fireside Inn and Suites. The card said:
“To all the Staff, thank you for the Hospitality and
Customer Service you Provided Us During Our Visits to Devils
Lake as President of the Lake Region State College.”

Recent guests (8/13/08) from Arizona
commented: The room, the people – everything was so very
good. It was so clean & smelled so good – from the moment
we entered! Thank You. Their final comment was:
“The Front Desk Clerk was so very nice!”
Guests from Boone, Iowa stated the
reason they stayed at the Fireside Inn was because it
looked so inviting from the outside. They stated the
“Housekeeping personnel always had a smile for us”. “Front
desk personnel…Leona made us feel so welcome and was so
helpful to us. Thanks to her!!”
One guest came to the Manager’s Office
after checking out. He said; “I just wanted you to know
that you have the whitest and fluffiest towels I have
ever experienced in a Hotel. They are great!”
Some tourists not only rated the
Fireside Inn and Suites Excellent throughout, they also were
drawn in by the central location of the Hotel.
“Your people at the front desk were
very, very helpful.”
Guests from Crookston, Minnesota rated
the Fireside Inn in Devils Lake excellent throughout, and
decided to stay at the Fireside because they heard locally
that we have the “Best Rooms in Town”.
Other guests from Colorado who stayed
with us in July/08 decided to stay at the Fireside Inn
because of a personal referral back home. They rated
the Hotel Excellent in every category. Their
personal comments stated “Excellent accommodations. Thank
you.”
A couple from Minot, ND who stayed
with us in July/08 after staying in local Franchise Motel in
town stated: “This was like moving to the Hyatt Regency.
Thanks for being here. We will be back!”
A local couple stayed here recently
for their wedding. They said: “My husband and I liked
everything that was in our suite. Everything here at
this hotel was just what we needed to relax. Thank
you.”
“Handicapped facilities excellent.”
A Fireside Inn guest who stays here
repeatedly , mostly for his holidays and vacations, filled
out a Guest Comment card on 07/06/08 to simply acknowledge
that he continues to rate the Hotel as Excellent in every
category.
A note to the Manager, 9/6/08, says:
You guys have thought of every comfort one requires
here. Well done!! Best we have stayed in for the Price!

7/14/08, left a note addressed to: “Fireside Inn and
Suites, Management and Staff – Thank you for a great
nights lodging.” Accompanying this note was the
following poem: “Every time a good deed is done, a kindness
